How to read Omniguides offline on your phone
Install a course once, and the lessons you open stay readable offline.
Each course installs as its own app with its own home-screen icon. It opens full screen, without browser tabs, and keeps up to 250 pages you have read on the device.
Install on iPhone or iPad
- Open your course guide in Safari.
- Tap the Share button, the square with an arrow pointing up.
- Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.
- Open the course from its new icon.
Install on Android
- Open your course guide in Chrome.
- If you see Install this guide at the end of the course contents, tap it. Otherwise tap ⋮ and choose Install app (some phones say Add to Home screen).
- Tap Install.
- Open the course from your home screen or app drawer.
On a computer, Chrome and Edge show an install icon in the address bar on any guide page.
Before you go offline
Open the lessons you need while you are still online; each page you open is saved. A page you have not opened shows a short "You're offline" note with a link back to the course start page. Back online, pages refresh the next time you open them.
