  • Bulk modulus

Bulk modulus measures resistance to compression through pressure change divided by fractional volume decrease. A larger modulus means a smaller volume change for the same pressure increase within the model’s range. For example, a liquid with a high bulk modulus can often be approximated as incompressible in modest-pressure flow problems.
